Yvonne Nelson

The pretty former Miss Ghana contestant and budding actress,Yvonne Nelson had featured in over 20 movies, the most popular of which is “Princess Tyra” in which she played a leading role. She is now nicknamed Princess Tyra by her fans for the excellent way she handled her part.

She was recently nominated for the “Best Up and Coming Actress Award” at the African Movie Academy” awards held in Nigeria. She described herself as the next “Big Thing” in the African movie industry with her eyes glued to Hollywood.

The latest movies in which she featured include “Girlz Connection” and the “Golden Adventure”. She co-starred in the latter with Nigerian superstar Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osofia in London.

Yvonne says she derives her inspiration from her mother, Margret Kusi and owes her life to God.
